Unfortunately the only person that can use it is the person that crafted it. The pattern for this mount is taught by tailoring trainers. The flying carpet is a flying mount which can be crafted by tailors with a skill level of 300. Only tailors can ride them.

The flying carpet is a bop tailored item. Note that it requires a northrend tailoring skill of at least 1 to craft or learn but it can be ridden by any character on your account that has a basic tailoring skill of at least 1. This mount is available to all eligible characters on your account. Teaches you how to summon this mount.

The flying carpet mounts are bind on pickup. Only tailors can get them. Please ignore the trolls. Once learned the mounts will remain a part of your collection and will count towards mount achievements like lord of the reins.

Unfortunately the only person that can use it is the person that crafted it. The orbs can be purchased within the same city but also obtained by other means around. Even if professions are later switched the mounts remain in your collection you just won t be able to use them without tailoring.
